The screw-in resistance thermometer enables temperature measurement in gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The proven installation form ensures reliable tightness under negative and positive pressure. The continuous protective tube and the process connection are made of stainless steel 1.4571 and protect the measuring insert against chemical influences and mechanical damage. The resistance thermometer is therefore ideal for applications such as in heating, furnace and apparatus construction or in process technology. With an exchangeable measuring insert, the resistance thermometer is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit according to DIN EN 60751 (Class B) and is designed for temperatures from -50 to +400 °C. The connection head made of die-cast aluminum in form B (IP65) is mounted with a neck tube that is thermally decoupled from the process connection. The connection head has an M20 x 1.5 cable gland and can withstand temperatures of up to 100 °C. The protective tube has dimensions of 9.0 x 400 mm. A screw connection with a G 1/2 inch thread serves as the process connection.
