The plug-in thermocouple can be used in conjunction with the standard DIN EN 14597 (DIN 3440), tested temperature control and limiting devices, in heat transfer systems according to DIN 4754. With the help of the Seebeck effect, it can be used to measure the temperature in the operating medium air. The thermocouple is therefore particularly suitable for applications in heating, furnace and apparatus construction. As a double thermocouple 2x NiCr-Ni K according to DIN EN 60584 (class 2), it is designed for temperatures from -35 to +1000 °C. The connection head in version form B (15) is made of die-cast aluminum and can withstand ambient temperatures up to 100 °C. The 6 mm thick protective tube is made of ceramic (KER 710). The installation length is 420 to 475 mm. The thermocouple is intended exclusively for temperature measurements in gaseous media (air).
