The contact resistance thermometer with connecting cable enables good temperature measurements on surfaces due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special aluminum protective fitting. A 150° angle is milled out in the middle of the underside of the protective fitting, which also enables attachment to round surfaces. The contact resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for temperature measurements on closed pipe systems or other round and flat surfaces. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as a 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit and is designed for temperatures from -50 to +180 °C. The protective fitting measures 25 x 15 x 50 mm. The transition between the protective fitting and the connecting cable is provided with an anti-kink spring. The simple assembly with tension straps or hose ties eliminates the need for mechanical processing of the measuring location. The permissible ambient temperature of the 2.5 m long silicone connection cable is -50 to +180 °C. The open connection end is fitted with wire end ferrules in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4.
