The pierceable resistance thermometer with connecting cable and handle enables temperature measurement in almost all areas of food processing and preservation due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the robust and water vapor-tight construction. The probe tube with dimensions of 4.0 x 100 mm is made of stainless steel 1.4571 and has a beveled measuring tip with a 45° angle. The mounted handle with a diameter of 10 mm is made of silicone and can withstand temperatures up to +200 °C. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for cooking, cooking and baking processes. Other areas of application are autoclaves and sterilizers. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit and is designed for temperatures from -50 to +200 °C. The 4.0 m long connecting cable made of PTFE is mounted with strain relief at the transition. The permissible ambient temperature of the connection cable is -50 to +260 °C. The open connection end is fitted with wire end ferrules in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4. The design is also highly shock-resistant and the handle used is oil and acid resistant.
