The plug-in resistance thermometer with connecting cable enables temperature measurements in gaseous and liquid media due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor. The protective tube is made of material 1.4571 and has dimensions of 6 x 100 mm. The connecting cable is designed for use in damp rooms. The resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for temperature measurements in sterilizers. The special design also allows use in atmospheres containing water vapor. Other areas of application include apparatus construction and laboratory technology. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class A) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a four-wire circuit and is intended for temperatures from -50 to +150 °C. The 2.5 m long connecting cable is made of PTFE, has a shielded contact and is mounted with strain relief at the transition. The permissible ambient temperature of the connecting cable is -190 to +260 °C. The open connection end is fitted with wire end ferrules in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4.
