The contact resistance thermometer with connecting cable enables good temperature measurements on surfaces due to the temperature dependence of the electrical resistance of its built-in platinum sensor and the special protective fitting made of aluminum. The protective tube with dimensions 6.0 x 6.0 x 45 mm also has a mounting hole at the tip. The contact resistance thermometer is therefore preferably used for temperature measurements on closed pipe systems or on other round and flat surfaces. The resistance thermometer according to DIN EN 60751 (class B) is designed as 1 x Pt100 in a two-wire circuit and is designed for temperatures from -50 to +260 °C. The simple installation with tension straps, hose ties or fastening screws eliminates the need for mechanical processing of the measuring location. The permissible ambient temperature of the 2.5 m long connecting cable made of PTFE is -50 to +260 °C. The open connection end is fitted with wire end ferrules in accordance with DIN 46228 Part 4.
