The head measuring transducer with wireless measured value transmission is used in conjunction with a Wtrans receiver for stationary or mobile recording of temperatures with resistance thermometers or thermocouples. Alternatively, resistances of up to 10 kΩ, voltages of up to 50 mV and, using an external shunt, currents of up to 20 mA can be measured. Customer-specific linearizations are possible. The measured values are transmitted wirelessly to the receiver of the Wtrans measuring system. The measured values are displayed on the receiver and are available in digital form on the RS485 interface and as analog outputs. Various alarms can optionally be signaled using two relay outputs. This head measuring transducer intended for industrial use consists of the measuring transducer with integrated transmitter unit and an antenna-battery housing. The measuring transducer is designed for installation in form B connection heads and operates in the ambient temperature range of -30 to 85 °C. Installation in customer-specific connection heads is possible. The antenna battery housing is connected to the connection head via a screw connection (M201.5). The transmission frequency of the Wtrans measuring system is 868.4 MHz. This frequency is largely insensitive to external interference and allows transmission even in harsh industrial environments. If the antenna wall mount with the 3 m long antenna cable is used on the receiver side, the range in the open field is 300 m. A lithium battery 3.6 V, 2.2 Ah (size AA) is used to supply power to the head measuring transducer. A setup program is available as an accessory for easy configuration and parameterization of the head measuring transducer and Wtrans receiver on the PC. Optionally, the online chart function can be used to record measured values on the PC.
