The thermometer has a stainless steel housing with a diameter of 80 mm. The measuring system used works according to the principle of the bimetallic coil, which acts directly on the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminum scale with black lettering, which is protected by a glass pane. The housing has protection class IP54 and can be used in limit temperatures from -30 to 80 °C, the nominal position is arbitrary. The device is attached using a stainless steel screw connection, which can be moved as desired on the stainless steel immersion tube with a diameter of 6 mm. The thread of the screw connection is G 1/2 Form A according to DIN 3852/2. The immersion tube outlet branches off axially to the rear on the back of the housing. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is ideal for energy-saving temperature measurement. Furthermore, it is insensitive to ambient temperature influences. The device can be used universally and is suitable for local temperature measurement.
