For the labelling of cables and wires, printing using the FLEXIMARK® software (download at http://www.lappkabel.de/kennzeichnungssoftware/kennzeichnungssoftware.html), printing with a standard laser printer, the transparent film part is wrapped around the cable and stuck over the labelling field so that the printing is protected against abrasion and dirt, resistant to chemicals, UV light, moisture and some oils, various criteria such as ageing resistance and chemical resistance were tested by the independent SP testing institute in accordance with the SP 2171 method (test results see selection table A15),
