The MDT switching actuator receives KNX/EIB telegrams and switches up to 12 consumers
independently of one another, depending on the expansion level. Each output is switched via a bistable relay and can also be operated manually using the buttons on the actuator.
Each output can be individually programmed using the ETS. You can choose from logical links,
status feedback, blocking functions, central switching functions and comprehensive time functions such as
switch-on/off delays and staircase lighting time functions. Scene functions are also available.
The MDT switching actuator enables current measurement per channel as well as the measurement of the total current.
Depending on the parameterization, the measured values can be sent to the KNX bus in different data formats (mA/A/kW). The actuator also has an operating hours/service interval counter.
The integrated counter function can be used to record energy consumption (Wh/kWh). The active power is calculated using the voltage and the cos phi factor.
In the event of a mains voltage failure, all relays maintain their current switching position. In the event of a bus voltage failure or return, the switching positions of the relays can be programmed individually for each channel.
The switching actuator is intended for permanent installation on a top-hat rail in high-voltage distribution systems. Installation must take place in dry indoor rooms. The MDT switching actuator has individual supply lines for each channel.
