When the button is pressed, the MDT button triggers KNX/EIB telegrams depending on the parameterization. The buttons can be parameterized as a pair of buttons (two-surface) or as individual buttons. In addition to dimmer/blind, contact type and blocking objects,
there are numerous functions to choose from. The MDT Plus button has 2 integrated logic modules. It is possible to send a second object via the logic modules.
The central label field with cover film allows the button to be individually labeled. The label template can be found in the download area on our website. If the button is not labeled, the light gray cover film supplied must be used.
The MDT button in the Plus series also has an orientation light and a two-color (red/green) LED per button surface. These can be controlled with internal or external objects. It is possible to display 3 states with one LED, e.g.: LED off = absent, LED green = present, LED red = window open.

The MDT button is designed for installation in switch boxes. Installation must take place in dry, indoor areas.
To commission and configure the MDT button, you need the ETS3f/ETS4.
