The D0 fuse system is used in low-voltage systems in which the fuse inserts are accessible to laypersons and can be replaced by them. It is the most modern screw-type fuse system with indicator and is designed for AC400V or 250VDC. The sizes D01, D02 and D03 make up the D0 system. D0 fuse inserts are used to protect cables and systems. They safely switch off impermissible overcurrents and short-circuit currents up to the nominal breaking current. The D0 fuse insert also protects electrical devices and systems from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents. D01 fuses also fit in DL sockets and can also be used in D02 sockets with a special retaining spring.
