The Mersen wiring rail in fork design is suitable for wiring modular devices in flat terminals, with dual-function terminals or single-screw terminals. In both the fork design and the bar design, devices with dual-function terminals offer the option of busbars in the upper area of the terminal while simultaneously feeding power in the lower area. The use of end caps on multi-pole wiring rails ensures optimum contact protection and prevents arcing at the ends of the rails. When wiring devices with flat terminals or single-screw terminals, additional feed-in terminals are required.
