Description
Mersen HH fuse links have been used for decades for reliable protection in high-voltage switchgear and switchgear. With the Limitor -PTS product range, Mersen offers a new, innovative fuse melting element to reduce power loss. A thermal release prevents overheating in the fuse compartment of the switchgear. Mersen uses the best materials: fuse elements are made of pure silver, contact caps are made of silver-coated copper and the fuse body is made of ceramic. The Limitor -PTS product range protects transformers in combination with air or gas-insulated switchgear against the thermal and dynamic effects of short circuits. Siemens and Ormazabal recommend the use of Limitor -PTS HH fuses in their gas-insulated switchgear.
