The modular fuse holder Modulostar offers optimal mechanical and thermal resistance and is used to protect drives, motors and transformers in low-voltage distribution and control systems. It can only be switched when the power is off and is finger-safe according to IEC and corresponds to protection class IP20 even when changing the fuse. Modulostar fuse holders are available in 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-pole versions. Mersen offers variants with or without optical fuse monitoring in UL and IEC versions. Single-pole units can be combined to form multi-pole units using an assembly kit. In sizes 14 or 22, microswitches can be used as an option for remote display. These are supplied with the fuse holder or can be retrofitted as accessories.
