The SAR 1 is connected to a telecommunications connection line and is controlled by the ringing voltage. The SAR 1 only reacts to the ringing voltage, not to dialing pulses (IP), and uses a contact to switch on an external signal generator (e.g. bell, horn or lamp) with its own or separate power supply. The external signaling can be switched on or off as required using the built-in switch. Input / ringing voltage 32 to 80 V AC Input / frequency range 23 to 54 Hz Input / impedance 10 kOhm at 75 V, 25 Hz Input / insertion loss less than 0.5 dB Input / insulation resistance greater than 5 MOhm at 100 V Output / switching current max. 8 A Output / continuous current max. 6 A Output / switching voltage max. 250 V AC Output / switching capacity 2000 VA (AC) 240 W (less than 30 V DC) 50 W (greater than 30 V DC) Electrical safety in accordance with EN 60950 Dimensions W x H x D 65 x 80 x 27 mm Operating temperature range -5 °C to + 55 °C Storage temperature range -25 °C to + 70 °C
