ELWA

ELWA is a 2 kW photovoltaic water heating device and is perfect if you want to use your solar power exclusively for generating hot water. The direct current from photovoltaic modules is transferred directly to the built-in heating element and immediately converted into heat without any loss. The built-in MPP tracker ensures that the PV generator is always operated at the optimal operating point, similar to a PV inverter.

No connection to the power grid is required to operate the ELWA, as the device is powered by the PV generator, meaning it is purely an island operation. The desired hot water temperature is set with a rotary knob and the LED displays provide information on the current device status.
