The AC THOR is a photovoltaic power manager for hot water and heating and continuously regulates electrical heat sources depending on the PV energy supply and heat demand. It communicates via a network with inverters, battery systems and smart home controls and receives information about how much photovoltaic energy is available. Missing energy is drawn from the public power grid, and starting the heating system is no longer necessary. Better than conventional heat generators For PV system outputs of 5 to 10 kWp, the AC THOR achieves annual performance factors (based on grid supply) that are significantly higher than typical values. This makes electric room heating ecological and economical for the first time. Cables instead of pipes The AC THOR is the innovative further development in photovoltaics and the new way in building technology. Cables instead of pipes, electricity instead of hydraulic systems, simple instead of complicated, self-generated energy instead of fuel costs.
