The fire protection bandage type CL-KS is used inside buildings as a cable seal for individual cables, cable and electrical installation pipe bundles (EIR). The material, which foams up in the event of a fire, is used to seal off fire compartments for a maximum of 90 minutes. The seal consists of a flexible bandage which is fixed with wire. The cable seal can be installed quickly and easily. When wrapping the cables, it is important to pay attention to how often the respective medium has to be wrapped (cable bundles and rigid EIR at least 2 layers and flexible EIR at least 3 layers).
