The MCF50-NAR type 1+2 combination arrester for lightning protection equipotential bonding according to 0185-305 (IEC 62305) is suitable for use in the pre-meter area in accordance with the VDEW guideline. The MCF50-NAR is used in buildings with lightning protection or overhead line feed-in in TN-S and TT systems. It is mounted on 40 mm busbars in the network-side connection compartment. The protection level of 1.5 kV protects the terminal devices in the system. The lightning current discharge capacity is 50 kA (10/350) total and 12.5 kA (10/350) per pole, follow current extinguishing up to 50 kA with a max. backup fuse up to 160 A gL/gG.
