The XGCS49LB201 visually enhanced reader also has two integrated multi-colored LEDs that can be controlled by the automation system via the Modbus RTU network. These LEDs provide the operator with intuitive information when the RFID card is presented to the reading station and the profile is read by the automation system (for example, green light when the machine is authorized to operate or red flashing light when the profile is not accepted, etc.). The two status LEDs are controlled in parallel via Modbus write requests. They can be read from any angle, regardless of the operator's viewing angle. All three versions are equipped with status LEDs.
