The Harmony XPS Basic safety relays implement basic safety functions. The focus is on classic functions and easy operation with many switching contacts. It can be operated directly without setting and has a realizable safety function. For this purpose, the mechanical break contacts of emergency stop/stop buttons, position or cable pull switches are integrated into the supply circuit of the safety relay. This means that the safety function can be implemented in a single or two-channel (redundant) version. Automatic, manual or monitored start is available on separate inputs for the start function. This safety switching device has 4 safe relay make contacts and 2 relay break contacts as outputs. The supply voltage is 24 VAC/DC and the connections are made via removable screw terminals. Applications up to safety level PL e in category 4 or SIL3 can be implemented. Installation is carried out by snapping onto a top hat rail or screwing onto mounting plates. A uniquely numbered locking strap is included to protect the settings under the transparent cover. A wide range of approvals enable international use.
