Thanks to the fully encapsulated zinc die-cast housing, the ET 200eco PN is mechanically very robust and resistant to vibrations, dust, oil and moisture and is therefore also suitable for outdoor use. Thanks to the ATEX approval, the ET 200eco PN can also be used in potentially explosive areas up to Zone 2. Thanks to its excellent robustness, it can be used in a wide range of areas, particularly in mechanical engineering and the automotive industry, and in particular on tool changing machines. In addition to digital and analog input and output modules in various versions (including current, voltage, temperature and resistance measurements), the portfolio also includes IO-Link masters and a fail-safe module for connecting sensors and actuators up to SIL 3 / PLe. If required, the outputs of the standard modules can also be switched off in a fail-safe manner up to SIL 2.
