The servo converter SINAMICS S210 is connected to SIMOTICS S-1FK2 synchronous servo motors. Connection to a higher-level control with PROFINET RT/IRT. This means that SIMATIC S7 (shortened engineering time with SIMATIC S7-1500/T-CPU) and SIMOTION in particular can be used as controllers. The S210 is flexible, versatile and can be used worldwide (with all common approvals, UL-validated for North America). The S210 works with servo control with/without Dynamic Servo Control (DSC) and has a torque setpoint limitation. An integrated one-cable interface OCC (One Cable Connection) enables the convenient connection of a SIMOTICS S-1FK2 motor with just one cable; no other motors need to be connected. The integrated web server allows for very simple commissioning. The automatic detection of motor and encoder makes operation easier (e.g. automatic controller optimization with one-button tuning). Errors and warnings are shown on the display under the front flap, and comprehensive diagnostics with plain text messages are possible via the integrated web server. Integrated safety functions enable highly effective protection of people and machines. Safety Integrated Basic functions are included as standard. In addition, the Safety Integrated Extended functions are optionally available. SINAMICS S210 is supplied with painted or partially painted modules as standard, so that the sensitive SMD components are protected from dust, moisture, etc. The servo converters are available in a single-phase voltage range from 200 V to 240 V, in a power range from 0.1 kW to 0.75 kW and in frame sizes FSA to FSC. The three-phase converters are available in a voltage range from 200 V to 480 V and a power range from 0.4 kW to 7.0 kW in frame sizes FSA to FSC. In the devices of the 3-AC series, the intermediate circuits of up to six converters can be coupled. This enables energy to be balanced between the axes. The SINAMICS S210 can be individually adapted to requirements thanks to various options. The converters are supplied with a shield plate and push-in connectors (without memory card).
