The control for the Somfy Ixengo io gate drive is the intelligent component of your gate drive. It contains all the important functions and properties for operating your yard gate.
The adaptation of the control to your drive is quick and easy using an LC display, self-learning function and colored sockets (to distinguish the connections). The simple commissioning is complemented by the preset control ex works. All this guarantees you little effort and time savings.
In addition to the simple commissioning of the control, the Control Box 3S io has a programmable safety input for connecting another safety component. In this way, you can attach a component in addition to the legally required light barrier and program it individually.
Example:
Your swing gate drive opens into the courtyard interior. Since your courtyard interior has enough space, you park your car there every now and then. In these cases, it is advisable to install another light barrier there. If your car is now in this area, the gate cannot be opened. This can save you costly repairs to your car and the yard gate.
