Invisible on beautiful gates
The drive is mounted in the floor and does not affect the appearance of the gate in any way. The design of your gate is shown to its best advantage.

Security through encrypted radio system
The bidirectional SOMloq2 radio system sends radio signals in both directions. This means that feedback can be received about the command sent or the gate position. The rolling code is encrypted with 128-bit.

Power failure - what then
In order to open your gate even in the event of a power failure, the mechanical emergency release can be operated manually using a key. Even if there is a lot of pressure on the drive, the unlocking mechanism can be released with little effort and you can get onto your property.

Easy retrofitting of accessories
Thanks to our modular principle, accessories can be installed quickly and easily at any time.
Connection options for 8k2 safety contact strips are already integrated into the control system as standard.
With the existing multifunctional relay, you can connect and control external devices (e.g. yard lighting). You can also expand the comfort and safety functions of your drive at a later date if your needs change.

Comfort in the event of a power failure
During a power failure, the drive can be operated in an emergency using our optional battery pack. This means you can stay comfortably and safely in your car at night and in bad weather.

Functions that make everyday life easier
The pedestrian door function can be used to open just one wing of the gate and, for example, to get onto the property by bike. This saves you an additional garden gate and allows you to make full use of your driveway width.
With the automatic closing mechanism, you can be sure that the gate is always closed behind you. After passing through the light barrier, the gate closes automatically after a set time.
The drive uses the warning light to signal whether and when maintenance is required on the gate. This significantly increases the service life of your gate and drive.

Long service life thanks to gentle soft running
The standard soft running in 'open' and 'closed' protects the gate and drive. Shortly before the gate's end positions, the speed is reduced, thus protecting the mechanics and increasing the service life. No annoying closing noises.

Reliable with higher traffic
The drive is suitable for multi-family complexes. Duty cycle 40% - that means 4 minutes of operation every 10 minutes.

Worry-free with high-quality materials
The housing is made of stainless steel and rust-proof aluminum, which can withstand the stresses of the weather. Optionally made of hot-dip galvanized steel.

Additional equipment
With our additional equipment you can generate your own optional added value. The modular system structure enables you to expand the SOMMER twist ug with numerous accessories according to the 'plug and play' principle. All accessories are very easy to install because the slots are color-coded and precisely labeled.

The use of active safety contact strips is mandatory. No swing gate may be operated together with the twist UG+ without active safety contact strips!
