The GigaSystem 17/8 is designed for the distribution of up to four satellite positions. The basic unit 17/8 G has a total of 17 inputs. Sixteen of these are satellite IF inputs that can receive the signal strands of up to four Quatro LNBs. Each Quatro LNB has four outputs, each of which has a specific frequency range depending on the polarization plane - a so-called satellite block. The multiswitch has one input for each of these signal strands. A maximum of 16 inputs can be used for satellite signals. The seventeenth input, on the other hand, is used to feed in terrestrial antenna signals. As with all high-quality multiswitches, the input signals are processed clearly separately from one another and amplified with a so-called slant. The higher the frequency of the signal, the greater the amplification. This compensates for the greater attenuation of the higher frequencies in the cable. The signals are distributed to up to eight participants. Power supply: The basic unit has a high-quality, efficient switching power supply that can supply power not only to the basic unit, but also to up to four cascades and all connected LNBs. Expandability: The GigaSystem 17/8 can be further expanded using suitable components, so that even large networks with up to several hundred participants can be created. Advantages: Space-saving (due to the extremely compact design). Latest SMD technology on board. Efficient and economical switching power supplies (basic unit). Suitable for long cable lines. High decoupling between the IF inputs (corresponds to the TechniSelect standard). Almost unlimited expansion options. German production.
