For charging privately and in semi-public areas
The TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART makes fast and safe charging possible at home. In contrast, charging at a conventional socket not only involves significantly longer charging times, but also a high safety risk. In addition, having your own wallbox at home offers you another major advantage over public charging stations: you can choose your own electricity provider and therefore the electricity price for charging your electric car.
The installation options for the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART are as numerous as its advantages. It can be installed under the carport, in the garage or underground car park and even in the driveway - anywhere you usually park your electric car. For those who do not want to or are not allowed to damage the structural integrity of a wall (third-party property), installation on a column with the TECHNIVOLT 1100 is also possible.

Fast, 3-phase charging
With a charging output of 11kW, you can also charge an electric vehicle with a larger battery capacity quickly and effectively. Use the simplified charging calculator to see how long it takes the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART to fully charge your vehicle from 0 to 100. The times determined are theoretical, maximum charging times. The common recommendation is to charge an electric car with a remaining battery capacity of around 20% to around 80% of the total battery capacity.

Protected by RFID card
If the e-charging station is freely accessible in the driveway or carport, access protection is useful to prevent unauthorized persons from charging. Hundreds of user RFID cards can be stored on the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART via the web-based configuration interface. Two user RFID cards are already included in the scope of delivery to enable convenient and secure charging only after prior authorization. Additional RFID cards can be ordered from the TechniSat online shop.

LED status display
The colored light ring signals the readiness for charging or the current charging process. This means you are always informed about the operating status of the wallbox in a simple and understandable way.

Lower installation costs thanks to integrated DC residual current detection
Now it gets very technical, but also important! The TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART already has integrated electronic detection of smooth DC residual currents in the range of In &ge, 6 mA, as prescribed by DIN EN 61851-1 for electric vehicles. It ensures that the vehicle's power supply is disconnected in the event of a DC residual current greater than 6 mA. For the electrician who connects the wallbox, this means that he only needs a type A residual current circuit breaker, which is significantly cheaper than a type B switch.

Protected against wind and weather
The flexible use of the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART is not least due to the nature of its housing. Since it is suitable for outdoor installation, this wallbox is well and safely encapsulated on the outside. However, a wallbox is also exposed to other external influences, not just pure rainwater. Dust or even unauthorized handling can also reduce the charging performance or damage the wallbox. The TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART therefore has protection class IP54. This means that it is well protected against dust, unwanted contact and splash water. This protection class is particularly important because otherwise better weather protection would have to be provided, which in turn causes additional costs. With the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART, weather protection is included.

Load management
If a parking lot is supplied with several charging points (charging stations), the house connection, the supply line or the branch of a sub-distribution is the limiting factor of the charging current at the charging point. This limitation represents the upper limit of the charging current to be distributed.
TechniVolt's load management offers the option of optimally aligning the charging current from several charging points to the available, maximum current and distributing it among the connected electric cars.
The load distribution can be static, dynamic and time-dependent. This means that a limited, shared power supply is not overloaded.

Type 2 charging plug
With the TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART, a Type 2 charging cable is permanently integrated into the charging station. This can be used to charge the vast majority of electric cars in Europe, as the Type 2 plug is now the European standard.
KfW funding
The TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART is eligible for funding under the KfW's subsidy for charging stations for electric cars in residential buildings (440).
Only subject to registration
For the 11 kW TECHNIVOLT charging station, registration with the energy supplier is sufficient according to the guidelines. Unlike charging stations with a higher charging capacity, such as
wall boxes with 22 kW, approval is not required.
Plug & Charge
Plug & Charge according to ISO 15118 enables the secure authentication of your vehicle for the charging process without additional charging authorization, e.g. using an RFID card. The charging station automatically recognises the compatible electric car when it is connected via the charging cable; the charging process can start immediately and conveniently.
Please check whether your vehicle supports Plug & Charge according to ISO 15118.
Energy management
The TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART can be integrated into an energy management system, e.g. a compatible photovoltaic system (PV system), using the EEBUS protocol via LAN in order to charge an electric vehicle when there is a PV surplus. If the PV system generates more electricity than is used in the household, you can charge your electric car with the PV surplus free of charge.
Energy meter
Kilowatt hours can be billed using the integrated MID-certified meter and shown on the integrated display on the charging station. Ideal for, for example, B. to charge for company cars of employees or vehicles of renters.
