The streamer generates an IP data stream from the services of up to 3 different TV satellite transponders. This can be done from 2 different satellites (2 independent SAT inputs) or from a single satellite using the input loop function of the headend. The encrypted programs are converted into decrypted IP services via the CI interface and the corresponding CAM module. Depending on the CAM type used (standard/professional), one or more services can be decrypted. In addition, the module has the option of re-encrypting the IP services decrypted by the CAM with a DRM Pro:Idiom solution (Digital Rights Management) in order to provide the content in a protected manner. The system includes the power supply and several streamers, depending on how many services are to be distributed.
