The FiberMASTER light source (850/1300/1310/1550 nm) can be used in conjunction with the power meter or OTDRs to directly measure the cable attenuation and the output power of optical components for fault diagnosis and can be used with the fiber optic inspection microscope to take images of the fiber end faces in the connectors at both fiber ends. The light source is equipped with a touchscreen for greater ease of use, lithium polymer battery for 10 hours of operation, USB connection as well as a robust housing and protected connectors to prevent damage.
