The Vitramo infrared heating element of the VH series is suitable for surface mounting on the ceiling or suspended from cables. The heating element reaches a maximum surface temperature of 190 ° Celsius. The infrared heater is produced in a sandwich construction and consists of a single-pane safety glass pane (ESG glass pane made of white glass, low in iron oxide, satin finish, 5mm thick, standard surface color white similar to RAL 9010) which is heated on the back by a heating layer that converts electrical energy into heat. This layer is glass fiber reinforced and embedded in a plastic mass. The back is effectively thermally insulated and completed by an aluminum cover that also encloses the sides. The weight of the VH10050 is 9.8 kg. For the mains connection, the heating elements are equipped with a plug on the device cover to match the loose connection socket supplied.
