The KNX Serial BAOS 870 enables the integration of non-KNX devices into a KNX network. It uses the FT1.2 protocol for RS-232 and supports the BAOS protocol for accessing data points. The device offers galvanic isolation of 2.5 kV DC and meets the EMC requirements according to EN 50090-2-2 and EN 50491-5-2. With a CE marking and approval for KNX, it is suitable for use in residential and commercial buildings. Technical data: Operating temperature: -5 to +45 degrees Celsius, storage temperature: -25 to +70 degrees Celsius, relative humidity: 5% to 93%. The device is powered by the KNX bus, has a current consumption of approx. 10 mA and has connections for KNX and RS-232. The protocol uses UART at 19.2 kbit/s, 8 data bits, parity even, 1 stop bit, and the frame format is FT1.2. Up to 250 group objects and 250 parameters can be used.
