The KNX audio actuator AM 840 distributes the signals of the connected sound sources (stereo: 4, mono: 8) independently to the zone outputs (stereo: 2, mono: 4). Functions that can be carried out via KNX sensors: zone on/off, volume, source selection, mute, sound control, zone and mandatory call (with attention signal/pre-gong). Feedback objects: zone on/off, volume, source. If there are more than 2 stereo or 4 mono zones, several audio actuators can be cascaded. Parameterization with ETS (product database: download from www.whd.de). Power supply: 24 VDC via separate power supply unit, power supply dimensioning depends on the number of connected power amplifiers.
