A microporous, liquid-tight and breathable ePTFE membrane is integrated into the breathing cable gland. Despite being permeable to water, a membrane is able to exchange air and thus avoid the pressure difference between the inside of the housing and the environment. The cause of condensation is thus eliminated. The patented product is a cable gland and pressure equalization in one. Optimum sealing and strain relief thanks to the special WISKA lamella system with enlarged contact surfaces and a large sealing area. Sealing to the housing with an additional EPDM O-ring. Available in various sizes and materials.
