Network and system protection (NA protection) NA box according to VDE-AR-N 4105, 4110 and 4120, TOR generators, G98 and G99, DIN V0126-1-1 and others

The UFR1001E network decoupling relay monitors voltage and frequency in three-phase and alternating current networks.
It meets the conditions for central NA protection according to VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11 in self-generation systems for feeding into the low-voltage network. For VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11, corresponding parameters were stored in program 2 and the monitoring of the coupling switch and the protection of parameters were adjusted accordingly.

For feeding into the medium-voltage network according to VDE-AR-N 4110:2018-11, the UFR1001E is suitable as unit protection on the generating units and as intermediate decoupling protection. K2 is used as the live contact. It always switches with K1.
Use as higher-level decoupling protection only if no QU protection is required and after consultation with the network operator and certifier.

The device has a two-channel, single-fault protection design and therefore meets the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4105:2018-11. The function of the connected switch is monitored. When monitoring is activated, the device does not switch back on if a shutdown error is detected; if a switch-on error occurs, attempts are made to switch it back on, thus ensuring increased system availability.

Limit values ​​for different applications are preset. They can be easily changed, as far as permitted.
With a 2-stage test, both trip circuits can be tested separately and the switching time of connected coupling switches can be determined.
With the standby input, a remote shutdown can be implemented, e.g. with a ripple control receiver.
