In multi-pedal foot switches, bars prevent several pedals from being accidentally operated at the same time (versions without bars on request). The foot levers are made of thermoplastic. The folding pedal guard lies on the pedal to protect against accidental operation. The pedal can only be operated when it is folded up with your shoe.
