An accident protection cover made of die-cast aluminum completely shields the pedal from above and from the sides and, with its wide extension, ensures high stability. This prevents accidental operation by objects falling from above or by carelessness from the side. Due to its stability, the cover can withstand a drop weight of 20 kg from a height of 1 m. In the case of foot switches with pedal locking, the pedal can only be activated after the locking lever has been unlocked with the shoe. This prevents accidental activation even in the event of strong vibrations caused by improper handling.
