The EasySmart switch D-Link DGS-1100-05PDV2, which is limited to essential management functions, is ideal for setting up a modern network environment. No special IT know-how is required, as installation and configuration are carried out via plug & play and convenient setup via the web-based interface. In addition, the DGS-1100-05PDV2 does not require a fan and can therefore be used directly at the workplace without annoying background noise. The feature set includes 802.1p Priority Queuing, which prioritizes time-critical applications and thus enables problem-free transmission. Throttling individual connections enables the highest throughput rates for the most important network devices. As part of the increased security, the Storm Control function, which protects the switch from overloads, can be optionally activated on the DGS-1100-05PDV2. Static MAC addresses allow network access to be restricted to only approved end devices at port level. The integrated VLAN function rounds off the features and supports the setup of separate network segments - for example for particularly sensitive company areas.
