The Gigabit Stackable Smart Managed Switch DGS-1510-52XMP/E is a PoE switch for companies that want to power VoIP phones, wireless access points or network cameras. The DGS-1510-52XMP/E has 48 PoE ports that deliver an output power of up to 30 W in accordance with IEEE 802.3at. The PoE budget is 370 W and can be increased to 740 W with the optionally available DPS-700 power supply. The model offers greater flexibility in supplying power to a wide range of devices. This switch is particularly suitable for use in the core area of small and medium-sized business networks with the typical 10G uplinks and 10G servers. In medium to large corporate networks, it can serve as a connection between core and edge switches. Depending on whether a linear or fault-tolerant ring topology is implemented, one or two 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports can also be used to create a physical stack. Six units or 288 Gigabit ports can be configured in a stack with direct cable connections to achieve high bandwidth. It is also possible to mix different models of the DGS-1510 series in a stack, allowing for easy, bundled configuration, management and troubleshooting.
