Greater range and flexibility
The DWL-6610APE uses the 802.11ac standard and thus reliably delivers the highest transmission speeds with maximum data rates of up to 300 Mbit/s over the 2.4 GHz band and 867 Mbit/s over the 5 GHz band. The internal high-performance omnidirectional antennas increase the range and eliminate dead spots, as even hard-to-reach places are covered. Thanks to beamforming, the DWL-6610APE achieves an even greater range than its predecessor, offering even more flexibility for a wide range of installation environments.

Thanks to dual-band technology, the DWL-6610APE provides wireless connections across two frequency ranges. With the band steering function, the AP achieves better load distribution across its two frequency ranges, instead of forcing all users into the 2.4 GHz frequency band. This ensures smooth video streams, instant SMS and email transmission, and fast downloads on mobile devices.

Centralized WLAN network management
If the DWL-6610APE is used together with D-Link wireless controllers and unified switches, it can be managed centrally. This makes it easy and efficient to set up and manage a large number of APs. As soon as the wireless controller or unified switch has detected the APs, the administrator can use their own configuration templates instead of configuring the APs individually. In addition, frequency management and security are also controlled centrally so that the administrator can preventively identify potential deficits
and vulnerabilities.
