The weather control unit (8380 00) works with the weather sensor to monitor wind speed, outside temperature, brightness (including maximum brightness) and precipitation and transmit them to the KNX bus. Up to 20 control units can be connected to one sensor. There are 10 sensor channels with logical links, 8 sun protection channels, support for external brightness sensors and a day/night switchover. Technical data: KNX Medium TP256, nominal voltage DC 21 to 32 V SELV, max. own consumption 0.5 W, IP20, protection class III, rated impulse voltage 0.8 KV, ambient temperature -5 °C to +45 °C. KNX Data Secure compatible. Includes connection and branch terminal for KNX.
