The IP router serves as a connection between KNXnet/IP and KNX-TP bus lines, can function as a line or backbone coupler and offers galvanic isolation. It links Ethernet with one or more KNX-TP lines, enables filtering of data traffic according to the installation hierarchy and supports group-oriented communication through integrated filter tables. It can also be used as a programming interface with up to 4 additional physical addresses for tunneling. Supported protocols are KNXnet/IP, ARP, ICMP, IGMP, HTTP, UDP/IP, TCP/IP and DHCP.
