CTAM sockets made of PEEK are used in applications where special material properties are required. On the one hand, these sockets can be installed in areas with high continuous temperatures of up to + 240 °C, e.g. for attachments to the exhaust system or in the engine compartment. In the semiconductor industry, products made of PEEK are used in test laboratories, among other things, to minimize the influence of external gases. Due to the good resistance to radiation, the sockets are suitable for use in medical technology/X-ray technology. The good resistance to acids and other chemicals speaks for use in the chemical industry. CTAM sockets can be an excellent replacement for previous metal solutions.
