Central ventilation unit with heat recovery for comfort ventilation. The WS 160 Flat series of devices is characterized by its compact and very flat design. The total height of just 23 cm enables space-saving installation in suspended ceilings. The standard and highly efficient enthalpy heat exchanger means that a condensate drain is not required. This means that the device can be placed anywhere on the ceiling, wall or an inclined surface. Other advantages of the enthalpy heat exchanger with intelligent humidity control are moisture recovery and the ideal room climate, even in winter. The housing is made of heat and sound insulating polypropylene (EPP). The EPP cover of the housing is covered with sheet steel for better sound insulation. Color: black/white aluminum. The flat devices are very quiet, energy efficient and correspond to an A label according to the ErP directive. The fans with constant volume flow cover a volume flow range from 40 to 160 m3/h. The two supply air nozzles (standard) enable the supply air lines to be laid without crossing. Left and right device variants are therefore unnecessary. The device has an F7 filter in the outside air and a G4 filter in the extract air as standard. An additional G4 filter can be retrofitted in the outside air as an option. This filter cascade extends the service life of the F7 filter enormously. The control system is able to regulate a large number of external components such as a brine pump, external room heating or flap for air-geothermal heat exchangers and to expand the scope of the ventilation concept. Depending on the temperature differences and user settings, the room air is optimally cooled without draughts occurring. The result is an efficient and energy-saving control strategy. Ventilation with the heating register therefore does not result in any loss of comfort even at lower outside air temperatures.
