The energy-autonomous radiator actuator offers a new design with an expanded range of functions. It has a USB interface for recharging the internal battery and an integrated thermogenerator for year-round operation with surplus energy from the heating periods. The bi-directional EnOcean protocol EEP A5-20-01 enables communication, while an integrated temperature controller and flow temperature sensor ensure a precise room temperature. Status feedback enables visualization and energy management, while the device can be configured via remote management/commissioning. With dimensions of 55 x 95 mm (Ø x D) and a weight of 260 g, it is small, compact and lightweight. The advantages include cost savings, CO2 reduction, battery-free and maintenance-free system solutions and the option of retrofitting existing heating systems without interfering with the building structure.
