The tado° Bridge X connects the tado° X Smart Thermostats to the Internet and enables control via the tado° app. It acts as a "Thread Border Router" and ensures that your smart home network is stable and fast. The Bridge X can also be used to integrate other Matter-enabled devices into your system. Installation is easy: simply plug the Bridge X into a socket and it connects your network to your WiFi. It also works as a signal amplifier for larger living spaces and ensures an extended range of your network. Since tado° X uses the Matter smart home standard, the Bridge X is compatible with a variety of compatible devices from other brands. Important: The Bridge X is not compatible with older tado° V3+/V2 devices and requires a Thread Border Router if you don't already have one in your household.
